Updated: Aug 18, 2019

PUBG took the world by storm last year. All groups of people were attracted to it and could not resist the temptation to play it. It is a battle royale game where 100 players are airdropped into one massive world and the last man standing wins the battle. The game has more than 100 million daily active users. If you want to dive into this competitive game, we have some useful tips and tricks to get you started and get better at it.

1. Once you download this free to play game on your smartphone, you are required to sign-in. It is highly recommended to create an account using your social media credentials (Facebook or Twitter). It will be easier to find your social contacts if you do so.

2. PUBG is a graphically intense game. Depending on the capability of your phone, select the right graphics quality and frame-rate for the game. Go to Settings icon and turn on Auto-adjust graphics. The third most important tip is something very small number of players do and that is selecting the right server. PUBG is an online game and its smooth gameplay depends on the quality of your internet connection and the server you have latched on to. Under the start button, you have a box to setup your game type, including the server. Amongst the server options you see on your screen, do not select one with less than 30ms.

3. Keep ‘Aim Assist’ on till you get the hang of shooting. Do not go guns blazing and tread with caution. Also, choose your landing spot very carefully. High loot zones are extremely risky, land there once your shooting and stealth improves. High loot comes with high risk also. Remember to never expose your entire body, always take cover and peep to keep an eye on your surroundings.
