You can also transfer the files if you don't have them on the device you use if you want to use them offline. you should definitely think about it as the space is going to be used up anyways.

@Nikhil Yeah it's not on Play Store it comes with Drive app only, kind of like an add on.

Thnanks Aditya. I followed the first step and found out that my tab had less than half a GB storage available. SO i deleted most of its apps to free the space annd then updated my tab and it got updated. Thanx.

You can also go for Samsung T5, it is also very good. It comes in the storage range of anywhere between 250GB to 2TB. It is incredibly fast and super compact. So yeah, go for T5 if you have not yet decided.
